The Riverhead brew-pub was opened in 1995, and Ossett Brewery purchased the site in 2006. The core range are named after local reservoirs, with the height of the reservoir relating to the strength of the beer. Our brewer has successfully added new beers whilst retaining the old favourites.
The Riverhead is Ossett Brewery's smallest plant – a two brewers barrel plant producing just eight firkins per brew. The majority of Riverhead beers are sold through the pub but a small amount is available for Beer Festivals and occasionally to free trade customers.
